Welcome to Our Class!

First grade is a fun and exciting learning year!Here are a few reminders to make your year successful.

• School starts at 8:15
• School Dismissed- 2:40(Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday)
• School Dismissed- 1:15 on Wednesdays
• Homework- Homework is sent home on Friday and returned on the following Friday. 
• High Frequency Word List- I test the kids on high frequency words every Friday. Make sure their list is in their homework folder on Friday. 
• Reading- Students need to read for at least 20 minutes every night. Don't forget to log down the reading on the reading log!
• Sharing- Students share weekly. You can refer to the "Sharing Tab" to see what day they share on and what the theme is.
• Snacks- Kids get hungry by 10:00 am, please send a snack with your child. 
• Allergies- We are a "nut free" classroom.
